I use these 100W solar panels with my Jackery 1000 Portable Power Bank, however you can also use them by themselves by plugging directly in to the integrated USB port on the panel. When in full sun, two of these 100W panels provide 90-95W of charging power to my Jackery 1000 and will recharge it fully in around 8 hours.
They are super thin and lightweight, making them easy to store and carry. They aren’t travel sized, so I wouldn’t recommend going on a hike with them, but once you’re set up at a camp site, at the beach or in the back yard these do a great job of keeping things topped up with magical sunlight electricity!
My real world testing:
Before promoting any product I thoroughly test them to make sure it’s not junk. If they don’t work for me, I’m not going to recommend them to you – period.
When I first got my 12v RV fridge I decided to see if these panels would keep the Jackery 1000 topped up while it was running, so I placed the 2 panels in the sun and plugged in the fridge. Sure enough they were able to provide double the power that the fridge required, meaning not only was the fridge being powered by them, but the power bank was also being recharged. I’ve also placed just one panel in the windscreen of the van while out on a hike as a sort of sun visor and used it to top up the power bank while keeping the van cool from the midday sun beating down on it.
